The PRO-NOX Nitrous Oxide Delivery System is a pneumatically driven gas mixer designed to deliver a Nitrous Oxide mixture to patients for the relief of pain in an office setting.
For those of you who have been hesitant about an in-office procedure due to your pain tolerance or anxiety levels, Pronox is a great solution to make any procedure more comfortable for you. The Pronox delivery system is designed to deliver 50% Nitrous Oxide mixture and 50% Oxygen for patients pain relief.
With minimal user controls and enhanced safety features our Pronox delivery system is the safest nitrous oxide mixer available.
PRO-NOX is self-administered by the patient, so you can be comfortable with the amount of gas you are receiving and can adjust it based on your individual needs. You are in control! The gas is inhaled through the mouth and takes effect almost immediately. The amount of PRO-NOX required varies by patient, but this is what makes the self-administered system so successful.
If you would like to have Pro-Nox in conjunction with your procedure, please be sure to mention this when making your appointment so it can be reserved on your behalf.
What Is Pronox Used For?
We typically will use Pronox for a number of our cosmetic procedures such as Ultherapy, Fraxel, Fillers, and Infini. All of these procedures usually require some form of numbing product, whether it be topical or injection lidocaine prior to the procedure. With Pronox, the procedure itself will become much more comfortable to the patient, and sometimes even eliminate the need for things like injection numbing, which may cause for more downtime if bruising occurs. One of the best things about this product is that it is designed with the patient in mind. You (the patient) are in control of how much or little of the nitrous oxide is needed during the procedure to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
How Long Does Pronox Last?
One of the beauties of using Pronox versus other forms of relaxation is that the effects of Pronox are short-term and wear off an individual in about 10 minutes, unlike other alternative medications. If you would like to add on Pronox to any treatment, there are no restrictions to driving post-procedure.
How Much Does Pronox Cost?
Pronox is an add on cost of $65 for each procedure that you choose to use it in. There is necessary tubing that is included with each procedure, so if you have plans on using Pronox in future appointments as well, you can bring this in and the treatment reduces to $55 for future visits.
