What are the best treatments for your chest and neck?
Sometimes we are so focused on our face, that we overlook other areas like our hands, neck, and chest. On today’s blog we’re going to be focusing on what treatments we have that focus on improving the neck and chest.
There are a number of issues that can occur through the agin process for the neck and chest. Discoloration, fine lines, and skin laxity are just a few. Thankfully there is some thing you can do to address all of thee things and make your neck and chest look and feel better than before!
One of our favorite treatments that we use to address the discoloration, as well as, wrinkling on the chest and neck is Fraxel Dual. Fraxel is a a non-ablative laser that does a pretty amazing job in just one treatment to even skin tone and texture. If your goal is the fine lines and wrinkling, it typically takes multiple treatments for optimal results, but the best part about Fraxel is it’s dual function, which allows us to address both issues with one procedure. This procedure is typically reserved for the cooler winter months to avoid complications from sun exposure post treatment.
Another amazing treatment that addresses fine line and wrinkling on the chest AND skin tightening and lifting on the neck is Ultherapy. Ultherapy, known as the non-invasive lift, is focused ultrasound energy delivered to the dermal and deep layers of the skin without affecting intervening tissue. Over a two to three month period, weak collagen is reorganized and strengthened with the growth of new collagen, which in turn tightens and lifts the skin. This procedure is safe to do all-year long and we are making a permanent change to your collagen, which makes the results lasting!
We, of course, also have some of our steadfast instant result favorites like Botox and dermal fillers that can be used to fill in horizontal neck lines and treat pesky platismal banding on the neck.
