How Do JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC Injections Work?

Prior to Treatment

We’ll consult with you to walk through your aesthetic goals and ensure that you’re a good candidate. We’ll answer any questions and concerns you have, go over your medical history, and make sure you understand the aftercare process for beautiful, long-lasting results.

During Treatment

We first map out precise injection sites, then apply a numbing cream to soothe any discomfort. And after that careful prep work, your injector will administer the treatment to deliver the jawline of your dreams. This typically doesn’t take long, and most patients feel only minimal pain at the injection site. As it is a minimally invasive treatment, you can expect to be out the door soon after!

After Treatment & Results

It’s recommended that at first, you skip vigorous exercise or other strenuous activities, keep the area clean, and not use makeup. You can return to your usual activities almost immediately after, but you should avoid touching the area to let the filler work its magic. You’ll notice slight differences in your jawline immediately, and after just a few days, you’ll have a crisp, sharp jawline free of jowls and drooping skin!

When Will I See Results?

Initial results are visible immediately after injections, though they typically look best after a few days, once the filler has had time to settle.

Does JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC Hurt?

Like with other dermal fillers, most patients do not consider them painful, though there can be some soreness and swelling after injections. If your jawline tends towards sensitivity or if you have active acne in the area, you may experience slight discomfort.
