What is Restylane-L® Dermal Filler?

Restylane-L® is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler that is injected into various parts of the face to add volume while significantly reducing the appearance of deep to medium wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance in our bodies that keeps skin hydrated and plump and is used in Restylane-L® to ensure minimal migration across various movement-heavy parts of the face. It also contains 0.3% lidocaine to numb the injection and minimize discomfort. What is the History of Restylane-L®?

Restylane-L® has smaller HA particles than other fillers in the Restylane® family. This allows for a smooth and thin consistency that is suitable for sensitive areas of the skin, like the lips. How Does Restylane Restylane-L® Filler Work?

Prior to each treatment, we’ll complete a thorough consultation with you. The consultation is complimentary and is an essential step for us to learn about your medical history, goals, and needs so that we can offer you the customized care you deserve.

Before

We prep and cleanse the skin for injection.

During

Our injectors use a needle to insert the filler in the desired treatment areas, a process that typically takes less than an hour.

After

You’ll notice smoothness and plumpness as soon as we’re finished! The filler will continue to settle over the following week, and your results should last up to six months.

Am I a Candidate for Restylane-L® Filler?

The vast majority of patients over the age of 21, regardless of gender, qualify for Restylane-L® injections to treat a host of issues, ranging from nasolabial folds and marionette lines to increasing lip volume. Entirely non-surgical, Restylane-L® offers a wonderful way to minimize visible signs of aging while upholding the skin’s integrity. We’ll ensure your candidacy in a comprehensive, complimentary consultation.

Please inform us prior to your Restylane-L® filler treatment if you’re allergic to any ingredients in Restylane-L®, including lidocaine; have had poor reactions to other HA products; have an infection in the treatment area; are pregnant; plan to become pregnant; or are breastfeeding.

How Long Does Restylane-L® Last?

The time Restylane-L® lasts depends upon individual metabolism and the treated area. Restylane-L® typically lasts for six months before being absorbed by the body.

When Will I See the Results?

Immediately! They should settle in during the week after your appointment.

Does Restylane-L® Hurt?

Pain should be minimal as the product contains a 0.3% concentration of lidocaine. We can use topical numbing cream if you are very sensitive to further reduce pain.

How Much Does the Filler Cost?

The price depends upon multiple factors, including individual needs and quantity of product used. We’ll discuss your costs with you once we’ve learned about your needs during our consultation.
