How Do SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ Injections Work?

Our caring team members want you to feel comfortable and prepared for all our services. During your thorough consultation, we’ll walk you through what to expect and answer your questions. If you’d like to get started, you can read below what to expect before, during, and after a SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ treatment.

Prior to Treatment

Based on your preferences, we may apply a numbing cream to reduce potential discomfort.

During Treatment

SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ uses a tiny needle to make a series of micro-injections in the target area. The entire treatment lasts roughly 10-15 minutes. You should experience minimal discomfort — some areas may be more sensitive than others, but most find treatment to be completely tolerable.

After Treatment & Results

It’s normal to experience mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness following your SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ treatment. To mitigate these side effects, you should avoid swimming, drinking alcohol, excessive sun exposure, and extreme temperatures. You should also avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours to reduce the risk of infection.

In the coming weeks, you’ll gradually notice natural-looking results that will last 6 months. After this time, we may recommend a maintenance session to help results last even longer.

How long is treatment?

You only need one SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ session, which lasts between 10 and 15 minutes.

How long do SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ results last?

While results vary from patient to patient, they typically last for 6 months. After this period, you will need treatments every six to nine months to maintain your results.

Most patients report SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️ feels like repeated slight pinches. We offer numbing cream to prevent pain around sensitive areas like the lips, nose, and eyes.

What are the risks and side effects of SKINVIVE™️️️️️ by JUVÉDERM®️️️️️?

Temporary side effects include redness, bruising, swelling, and tenderness. While these generally go away within a week, most patients can return to their normal routine the following day.
