What is CellFX® Treatment?
CellFX® is a modern aesthetic treatment designed to help you love the look and feel of your skin. It’s designed to address common skin concerns like spots, bumps, and growths, which are clinically known as benign lesions. Examples include warts, sebaceous hyperplasia and other benign lesions that patients would like to have removed but are often difficult to resolve with traditional methods.
CellFX® uses state-of-the-art, non-thermal Nano-Pulse Stimulation™ (NPS™) technology to eliminate unwanted cells while preserving healthy, non-cellular collagen. This also stimulates cell turnover, which replaces affected cells with new ones to naturally refresh your skin. The non-thermal CellFX procedure also reduces the risk of common scarring and helps promote natural and gradual healing. CellFX® treats a wide variety of lesion types and sizes on the face, forehead, neck, back, hands and feet for smoother, beautiful skin.
How Does CellFX®️️ Treatment Work?
Our customized services, including CellFX®, start with a consultation where we’ll thoroughly discuss how to prepare for a safe and comfortable CellFX® procedure. To give a head start, we’ve outlined what to expect before, during, and after treatment.
Prior to Treatment
Your provider will mark out treatment areas and deliver anesthesia to minimize potential discomfort. They’ll adjust the treatment tip and intensity level to match your individual needs.
During Treatment
Your doctor will place the treatment device on each lesion to deliver energy pulses. While it’s normal to experience mild twitching or muscle spasms, any discomfort should be very tolerable during this time. If there are ever any concerns, additional anesthesia may be administered if requested.
After Treatment & Results
Immediately after your CellFX® treatment, we’ll cover the treatment area with healing ointment and bandages. Although the healing process may vary based on your skin type and lesion size, most patients can return to work and normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. Larger or deeper lesions may take more time to heal, but most lesions dissipate within 30-60 days.
While long-term results depend on lesion type and treatment intensity, most lesions can permanently be cleared with one treatment. We may recommend a second session for larger, deeper lesions.
