What is Molluscum?
Molluscum contagiosum, or just molluscum, is an itchy infection that is commonly spread through direct skin-to-skin contact or contact with infected clothing. It appears as small, round, raised bumps on the skin, which can develop a dome shape.While this relatively harmless infection is contagious at all ages, most infections are seen in children ages 1-10. Molluscum usually clears up by itself within a year, but for more severe or lasting cases, we have a number of ways to help!
