Dr. Rosalyn George is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, a national leader in aesthetics and dermatology, and founder of Wilmington Dermatology Center, a nationally recognized cosmetic practice. She works in all major areas of dermatology, has been recognized as a top provider and educator for several treatments, and advances new technologies through her involvement in clinical research.
Her compassion and commitment to her patients is evident in her love for developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans with her patients. She’s passionate about treating acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, and any difficult cases where she can provide solutions and relief to her patients.
Dr. George recalls a quote she heard at her first job in the industry, “complacency is devastating,” based on the belief that everyone can be their best selves at all times, even if it takes a little help.
Accolades, Certification, & Memberships
After graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Virginia Tech, Dr. George earned her Doctor of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society at Virginia Commonwealth University and became chief resident at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center. Today, she’s certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a fellow and Media Expert team member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
A speaker and trainer for a plethora of dermatology services, Dr. George is a Facial Aesthetics Board member and trainer for Allergan, creators of injectable fillers BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM®; a trusted partner with Solta Medical, creators of Clear + Brilliant® and Fraxel®; and a speaker for Cellfina®, Galderma, Merz, Valeant, the national skincare line SENTÉ®, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
