There is no downtime associated with Viveve, and you can resume all normal activities immediately, although we recommend two days without intercourse. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or tingling just after the procedure, all of which should resolve quickly. All Viveve patients are provided Dr. George’s personal contact information for concerns outside of normal business hours.
You’ll generally enjoy the full benefits of Viveve in three months, and results can last 12 months or longer. Results progress as the increased collagen improves tightness, sensation, lubrication, sexual satisfaction, and urinary leakage. Repeat treatments can maintain these results.

How long does the Viveve treatment take?
Viveve takes about 30 minutes to complete, so you can expect to be in the office for 45 minutes total. If we’re treating for SUI (stress incontinence), the appointment will be slightly longer at 75 minutes.
How many treatments will I need to see full benefits?
The beauty of Viveve is that you only need one treatment, unlike comparable procedures currently on the market. Repeat treatments down the road can maintain tightness in the vaginal wall.
What does Viveve treatment feel like?
The tip is rotated while it alternately cools the surface and heats the soft tissue beneath. Patients generally experience no pain, require no anesthetic, and can resume their normal lifestyle at once.
What happens after Viveve Rejuvenation? When will I see results?
You should notice an increase in nerve sensitivity, muscle contractions, and lubrication, as well as a reduction of urinary leakage. There’s no downtime, and results progress further over three months.
