What Is the QWO® Treatment?
Cellulite occurs when skin above fatty areas become uneven and dimpled over the years. Cords within the skin called “fibrous septae” shrink and pull down on the skin, while fat cells grow and push up on the skin, resulting in wavy, pockmarked skin. Skin can also thicken over time, making it more stubborn and in turn, more likely to develop cellulite.
QWO® treatment is the first and only FDA Approved injectable for treating moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. It is a prescription, non-surgical injectable that’s applied directly into cellulite. QWO® contains enzymes called collagenases that are used to release the fibrous septae, redistribute fat cells more evenly, and promote collagen growth for healthier, more flexible skin.
