Viveve for women’s health!
There is a lot of buzz going around in the discussion on vaginal rejuvenation. If you aren’t familiar with the term, vaginal rejuvenation is a treatment designed to benefit thousands of women and improved their health and quality of life. It is a state-of-the-art treatment designed to restore vaginal tightness, restore sensitivity and address stress urinary incontinence (SUI) unlike any other device out there.
Viveve is a treatment that uses radiofrequency combined with cryo-cooling to break up and re-build collagen in the treated area, thus creating more lubrication in the area, increasing sensitivity, and helping with non-severe cases of stress urinary incontinence (SUI). This process is seen gradually over a three-month period of time and takes only an hour to an hour and a half to complete the procedure. Unlike other devices Viveve only requires ONE in-office visit for treatment, and is an extremely comfortable procedure. People are experiencing more sensitivity in the area, exercising without worrying about wearing protection from leakage, and feeling more comfortable and lubricated during sexual intercourse.
While there are a couple of different devices used for vaginal rejuvenation, at WDC one of the biggest reasons we chose the Viveve system over other devices on the market was not only it’s safety profile compared to competing brands, but it is the ONLY device currently seeking FDA approval for treatment of sexual function. To date, it has completed 3 studies in the US and Canada specifically for sexual function and vaginal laxity. They have also received approval from the FDA to continue studies this year, which in turn, means the FDA feels like there aren’t any safety risks of using for this system, which can’t be said about all vaginal rejuvenation devices.
If you want to learn more about this procedure, we encourage you to setup a cosmetic consult to discuss the procedure and expectations in detail. Call or email our office today to setup your consult. firstname.lastname@example.org or 910-256-4350
